Llanblethian Community Group updates
Friday, 21 February 2025
Hi everyone,
As I haven’t written to you since before Xmas, may I be the last to wish you a Happy 2025.
So, what’s ‘occurring’ to use a popular vernacular?
1. On the 20th of December we held an event in the Church to sing Christmas Carols, organised by Lynne Salter-Hammond, supported by many others and hosted by Reverend Duncan Ballard,.
We were joined by 40 Adults + 19 Children and we collected £90 for Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice, (which recently announced that the Princess of Wales has become Patron). So well done to everyone involved.
2. It has come to my attention that, some months ago, following a Children’s party in the Church Hall, a lady’s ring was found. If you or someone you know have lost a ring then please let me know and I will ask the person currently holding it to call you.
3. Litter Pick: we have scheduled the next ‘village tidy up’ for
Saturday 22nd March. Meet at the Church Hall in Bridge Road. (see Poster attached)
The Church Hall: (heads up)
· For my sins, I have now taken on the role of Booking Officer for the Church Hall and have created a new email address for contacting me under this role, which is:
LLBChurchHallBooking@gmail.com
Please use this address if you wish to enquire about the Church Hall.
· YOGA: one regular event in the Church Hall is run by Chloe Higgins. See poster attached for details if you wish to join her classes.
That’s all for now, please make a note of the
Litter Pick on the 22nd March and I will send a reminder nearer the time.
