Defibrillator

Your Village Needs You!
I hope everyone who has walked past the phone kiosk on Bridge Road has noticed the defibrillator inside, and now we need just a little assistance from you.
The defibrillator is a sophisticated device that is simple to use and does not require any maintenance apart from a check to ensure the batteries are OK. All that is needed is a simple visual check to see that a green tick is visible in the window on the right hand side of the machine.
SO WE ARE ASKING THAT ANYONE PASSING THE PHONE KIOSK LOOKS THROUGH THE WINDOW TO CHECK THAT A GREEN TICK IS DISPLAYED.
If there is a problem, a red cross will show, and in that case we ask that a note be sent to LCG advising this, and then a member of the community group will follow up with appropriate action.
For your information, we are currently waiting for formal adoption of the phone kiosk and at that point we will be able to install a proper heated storage box, needed to keep the batteries and electrodes working properly in low ambient temperature, as well as clear and obvious signage.
